Copier, Toner & Laser Cartridges
Hello and Happy Monday!
Last night I was pretty much speechless about what topic to cover that was related to either labels or cartridges, so I rambled on about birthdays and what I did with my family this past weekend...
Today though I'd like to address our search engine at www.tlcIT.com
This is not going to go over well with some people but the plain and simple truth is it STINKS!
We are working on making it better but in the meantime it's not real good depending on what you search for!
For instance, if you search for your "HP LaserJet 2100" printer you'd come up with 140 results.
Some of these results are labels! Why? Because they have an item number that includes the number "2100", which was part of your search string.
It would not be until the 4th page of results that you'd see your laser replacement cartridge for the "HP LaserJet 2100 "printer.
It's actually listed as item # CT4096A.
The search engine does work well if you know your OEM number.
Again for the "HP LaserJet 2100" the oem cartridge number is C4096A. This number is usually found on the original box that the cartridge was shipped in.
If you type that number into our search engine. Then you'd come up with (4) results and all are relevent. There are actually four laser cartridges types to choose from that could be used in your HP LaserJet 2100.
Using the SEARCH in this way usually produces better results than just searching for your printer manufacturer.
Probably they best way to find your cartridge for your printer would be to use the drill down Search feature. This can be found under of the Search Engine search box, on the left hand side of the page.
It's pretty awesome and it's easy too.
For instance, from the left hand side of the home page you'll select the category that best fits your cartridge.
Again, looking for the HP LaserJet 2100 Cartridge, we know that it a Laser Cartridge so we select the Copier Toner & Laser Cartridges category
We also know the manufacturer of the printer which in this case is HP or Hewlett Packard So we select HP
Next we look for the specific printer model: HP Laserjet 2100
And by clicking on this link it takes us directly to the cartridges available to fit this printer . So basically in three clicks you found your cartridge.
This works for most of the printers in the entire universe but still, yours may not yet be listed on our site yet, and might still be able to get it for you, so the best and easist thing to do is just to call us.
Please be patient with us as we try to make the site and especially the search features better.
If you don't want to take the time searching for your printer, it's VERY EASY TO Call us Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (E.S.T.)
Thanks for visiting,
Rick
