Do you ever wonder why there are so many options for CD/DVD Labels?

I Do.

For goodness sakes CD's are round with a hole in the center and CD Labels are round with a hole in the center.... Just how hard can it be?

Well its a bit more challenging than you would think. Decisions...! Decisions...!

It's one decision after another when it comes to selecting CD Labels or DVD Labels...
I'll use the terms interchangeably here!

First decision, you must decide whether you want Clear Gloss CD Labels, Colored CD Labels, Matte CD Labels, Photo Matte Labels or Plain Old White CD Labels

Photo Matte (Inkjet Only)

White

White Gloss (Inkjet Only)

After you've decided which category suits you then you'll be faced with even more decisions.

Let's say here for the sake of example, you decided you want a plain old White CD Label.

So, you click the link that says "White" above, and from there, you'll have to decide between (13) different options:

If you click on the thumbnails above, you should see a larger scale picture of the CD Label so you can more carefully compare them. If you do you will notice that the only differences between these 13 choices are :

1. The Diameter holes & circles for the CD or DVD Labels are different... 4.5625 inches, 4.65 inches, etc
2. The Layouts of the CD or DVD Labels are different... that is, 2 per sheet, 3 per sheet, etc
AND
3. The "extra" Labels on the sheet are different. Some have 2 or 3 extra labels and some have none and they can be used pretty much however you want, I guess!

So hopefully you'll see that selecting CD or DVD Labels is not so confusing after all! It basically comes down to 4 choices.

Select the type of paper you want
Select the Diameter you want
Select the Layout you want
AND
Select the "Extra" Labels you use!
