What Do Dinosaurs & Dot Matrix Printers Have In Common?

Has anybody ever heard of a dot matrix printer?

Chances are if you are much younger than me you may have never even seen one let alone know what it is.

In computer terms the old dot matrix printers are dinosaurs...

So, I was surprised to see that according to Yahoo Search Marketing there were over 4,500 searches for the term "dot matrix printer" in March of 2006.

It was surprising that there were so many searches for something that is all but obsolete, so I started to do some research and discovered that according to webopedia.com dot matrix printers can print multi-page forms which laser and inkjet printers cannot.

So, if you have a multi-page form that you need to print, you better have a dot matrix printer and you better have a source for dot matrix ribbons and dot matrix labels (also known as pinfeed labels) and that of course would be who else.... but www.tlcIT.com!
