Indexing Index Cards?

As you know, many of our products are labels. Labels, are that you print and peel and then stick?

But what you may not know is that we also have a full line of card stock products as well.

These items come perforated in various sizes on an 8.5 inch x 11 inch sheet of thicker cardstock paper. The cardstock can be printed on almost any laser or inkjet printer. And it's "micro-perforated" so that when you "tear" it apart (where you're supposed to tear it apart) it rips cleanly and easily. Then you can then use them however you want.

We talked about business cards a few weeks ago but today I'd like to introduce you to our index cards.

Index cards or recipe cards may come in handy for a number of reasons one of which is obviously for recipes. That is, if you like the old fashioned way of creating and storing recipes.

But, even if you use a new hybrid version of the old fashioned method for creating and storing your recipes, you'll find these cards are super easy and convenient to use.

You remember the old fashioned way to store recipes don't you?

Well if not maybe it'll come back to you.... first you (or you get your friend) to hand write the recipe on a little 3" x 5" or a larger 5" x 3" index card and then you store it in a little plastic or metal index card box for the next time you needed it!

Get eggs or peanut butter on it?

You either wipe it off and hope you can read it the next time you make it or you sit down and rewrite it on another new index card.

Now the new and improved method of creating and storing recipes is to type the recipe or better yet cut and paste the recipe from some other source into your favorite word processor or software.

Now, when you're ready to make it you go to your PC and follow the recipe from the screen or just print it on a sheet of paper. That's pretty convenient and easy don't you think?

But if for whatever reason you want to keep your little old index card box you can use the hybrid version! It consists of entering the recipe on your computer and then printing the recipe on an index card for storage in an index card

Maybe you think, it's easier to read a recipe off of an index card than from a computer screen especially when your hands are full of eggs and flour.

Whatever the reason may be and no matter what you use them for, these cards will come in handy.

You can print them out onto these handy index cards anytime and at a moments notice too! So, not only are they handy to use when mixing your recipe but they will be super easy to reprint and replace if you get eggs or peanut butter all over it.

And as an added benefit too, you'll be able to hand a copy to Aunt Tillie next time she comes for dinner without getting hand cramps.

Check them out!

Rick
