A Good Way To Waste Labels

If you're like me you probably cannot stand wasting things. I especially dislike wasting paper but I especially labels. You'd think since we sale labels that I would not mind it, but that's not true!

One great thing about a template and a computer is that if you take care to make sure that your onscreen layout is correct before you hit the PRINT button, then you'll most likely not waste a single label.

Now on the other hand, if you've ever tried printing out half sheet shipping labels from the UPS or USPS website, chances are good that you had to waste half of your label.

I know that the UPS website prints the important stuff on the top half of the half sheet shipping label and then some instructions on the lower half.

Why they do that is beyond me but they do. There is no way that I know of to not print the instructions. Do you know of any?

This is a very effective way to waste labels. I can't stand it!

We've tried many techniques to avoid it but we haven't really found a way to avoid wasting half of an 8.5 inch x 11 inch sheet of shipping labels.

Free Label Templates

Howdy Folks!

Today I want to let you know some things about label templates that maybe you were not aware of.

Did you know that templates are exact layouts of labels that can be used to line up or layout your text and images before you print?

For instance, say you want to create a CD Label for that sheryl crow greatest hits CD that you just burned. You no doubt downloaded them from iTunes!

Suppose you want to give your CD a name so that can easily identify it. And also, you may want to list the songs you burned on the CD and the track numbers so you can easily find your favorite song.

Mine's

A template is an on the screen outline of your CD label. You can type text on the template and then locate the text however you'd like. You may even create a design or a background for your CD Label to help you easily identify it or give it your unique personality.

All of this is done on the template on screen before you print it out. Once you have your text positioned and your design laid out, you can save the template and reuse it again the next time. And now you can print out your Sheryl Crow CD label to be applied to your CD.

Since you downloaded your template from our site, and bought the labels from our site, your design will print correctly everytime without adjustment.

Your friends will be amazed at how professional and creative your CD's look. And, you'll get great satisfaction everytime you use them.

To make them look even more vibrant, you can use your color printer!

Or, if you really want to wow them you can print your labels on special photo quality CD labels.

How to Deal with The Ones You Love

Hey, What's wrong, no one has left any comments yet about our perplexing problem yet!

Or maybe you'd like a free copier or laser cartridge or a free inkjet cartridge ?

You might prefer a free carton of Business Card stock, so that you can print your own business cards on your desktop printer.

Or how about a free box of (8,000) return address labels? They're fun to design and print on your own. Plus you can make them without worrying about moving! (ie if you move you'd have to throw them away since your address would most likely will change!) :-)

I Need Your Help!

Hi y'all!

Thanks for all the great input and thanks to all of you who participated in our Buy 1 Get One Free Promo on Wednesday. It was part of the $500.00 Cartridge Giveaway!

The dust has finally cleared and the bean counter is still shaking his head.
He was shaking his head when I told him about our free cartridge giveaway
and he is still shaking his head. When I ask why he's still shaking his head... he just keeps shaking his head.

So I'm not really sure what that means, but I know if he continues to shake his head, without uttering a word, he might soon be admitted to the west wing of the local mental hospital.

Long story short... I'm not sure whether we will ever run that promotion again or not.
Maybe we will and maybe we won't. If I can get the bean counter to tell me then we can make up our mind.

As Steve Winwood used to sing, "If you see a chance take it...."

I know one thing different that we will do, if we do it again, and that is to put yet another Hitch (I think we had 6 listed) or two in the rules.

Like for instance, one gentleman bought (5) cartridges! Wow! He definitely wowed us.
We wondered, if he expected to get (5) Free cartridges of the same type in return. And more importantly, we kind of wondered what would be fair to him.

So, since we really did not cover that scenario in our blog hitches, we thought we'd WOW him right back by sending (5) more cartridges for free! He basically bought (5) cartridges and got (10) for the same price.

Needless to say, he was elated! And, surprisingly he said he really did not expect to get (5) free cartridges when he bought (5), but that's what he did.

We love when you WOW us and we love it more when we can WOW you! Just wish we could see the look on your face.

Sure we mess up now and then but hey who doesn't! We're human! If we do mess up though, we'll admit it. And then, we'll try our darnd'est to make it better for you! I know for some circumstances that's hard or impossible to do, but bottom line is at least we try.

HERE'S WHERE I NEED YOUR HELP

And now another story....
...this one concerns one of our (5) Free Cartridge Winners.

We sent each of these (5) winners a free black ink cartridge. We figured everyone prints with black ink even if you have a colored printer. But, lo and behold, one of the winners emailed us to ask why he did not receive a colored cartridge.

I've been thinking about getting him to send it back and offer it to another one of you that answered the question correctly! but haven't yet. I wanted to think it over! So here's where you guys come into play. Can you help me decide what to do?

How do you think we should respond to this guy...

Here's one of the ways we've been considering

Send him a free color printer cartridge and let him keep the black one too?
Send him a free color printer cartridge if he pays to return the free black printer cartridge we already sent him?
Just pardon and ignore his email and move on!

I'd Love to hear your opinion about this.
